Every swap has several cost components. Understanding them helps you judge whether a transaction makes sense.
Protocol and liquidity provider fees Part of the fee goes to liquidity providers who fund the pool. The amount depends on the fee tier used by the route.
IDSWAP service fee IDSWAP adds a service fee that is visible in the transaction summary. It is included in the quote; it is not an extra deduction after the trade.
Network gas Gas is a computation fee paid to the network, not to IDSWAP or liquidity providers. It depends on network congestion and transaction complexity. On low-cost networks such as Base, gas is usually much cheaper.
Liquidity determines execution quality Pools with deep liquidity and healthy volume give more stable prices for larger trades. If liquidity is thin, consider a smaller amount or another network with a deeper market.
Compare before signing The IDSWAP quote shows the amount received, price impact, and service fee. Use that information to compare routes and choose the right time to trade.
